A free children’s concert with the lighting of Sydney’s interactive Christmas tree
Kick off Christmas 2017 at the free Martin Place Christmas concert. See the interactive Christmas tree lit by Santa and the Lord Mayor, who’ll arrive on a cycle-drawn sleigh.
Hosted by Channel 7’s news anchor Mark Ferguson and Angie Asimus, the concert is packed with entertainment the whole family will love.
Live pre–show entertainment will keep you entertained from 5.45pm.
The concert starts at 6.30pm. Enjoy performances from Kate Miller-Heidke, Justice Crew, All Our Exes Live in Texas, Jay Laga’aia, Australia’s most prolific Indigenous female entertainer Christine Anu, and the Australian Girls Choir.

The night finishes with a spectacular fireworks display to mark the start of the festive season.
